This is where SFR's fleet breadth actually wins. Glamis (Imperial Sand Dunes), Superstition Mountain OHV, and Ocotillo Wells SVRA are the three anchor destinations for West Coast off-roading, and they require a toy hauler — not a camper. Our Momentum 29G and similar units are purpose-built for this. Generator, dust sealing, OHV tie-downs in the garage, and extra water are real, material add-ons for this trip, not fluff.

Day 1
SD → Glamis (Imperial Sand Dunes)
Two-hour drive through El Centro. Gecko Road camping or Buttercup — both BLM open dispersed.
Day 2–4
Glamis (Imperial Sand Dunes SRA)
Legendary Thanksgiving + New Year's rider events. Dune bashing, night riding, huge social scene.
Day 5
Ocotillo Wells SVRA (optional extend)
Different terrain — rock gardens, hills, washes. Closer to SD, smaller crowds.
Day 6–7
Superstition Mountain OHV area
North of El Centro. Less crowded than Glamis, great for quieter group trips.

Do I need my own OHV?
Yes — SFR is an RV rental, not an OHV rental. We coordinate with OHV rental partners in Brawley and El Centro for guests who need a rental rig for the weekend.
Thanksgiving Glamis is insane — is that true?
Yes. Thanksgiving and New Year's at Glamis are the two biggest rider weekends of the year. Expect 100,000+ people. We book out for those weekends by September. Reserve early.
Can I pick up the toy hauler or must you deliver?
You can pick up if you have a proper tow vehicle (typically 3/4-ton truck, 2.5-inch receiver, 7-pin harness, electric brake controller). We verify tow capacity before release.
What makes SFR different here?
