Burning Man is approximately 49% of our annual bookings. We have shipped fleet to Black Rock City every year 2022 through 2026 and sold out every year. Burning Man 2024 was the shelter-in-place weather event, and 65 of 68 units returned meticulously clean — flagship operational excellence. Every unit in our BRC fleet gets playa-specific prep: dust sealing, extra filters, generator service, water top-off protocols, and Starlink.
The Route
Day-by-day itinerary
Day −2 to −1
San Diego staging + departure
Pick-up or delivery-staging. Final provisioning, ice, water, fuel. Pre-trip orientation includes playa-specific protocols.
Day 1
Gate arrival + placement
Gate is where the event actually begins. Expect 4–12 hour lines. RV-appropriate camp placement with your theme camp or open camping.
Day 2–7
Black Rock City
The event itself. Deep playa art, temple, the Man burn, Temple burn. We keep a 24/7 support line open in Gerlach for emergencies.
Day 8
Exodus + Gerlach decompression
Exodus is a managed exit — can take 4–8 hours. Optional overnight in Gerlach / Empire for a shower and real food.
Day 9–10
Return to San Diego
Full-day drive home. Deliver-back available for guests who want to fly back from Reno.

Do you actually send units to Burning Man?
Yes — five years running, 2022 through 2026. We have sold out our Burning Man allocation every single year. 2024 was our most operationally demanding year ever (weather-related shelter-in-place) and 65 of 68 units returned in meticulous condition.
What's different about a Burning Man rental?
Everything. Dust sealing on seams, vents, and storage compartments. Extra air and fuel filters. Generator serviced right before delivery. Water tanks filled to capacity. The deposits are higher and the cleaning allowance is more forgiving because playa dust gets everywhere.
Can I pick up in Reno instead?
Our playa delivery tier ($4,999+) stages the rig on playa or at Reno staging, so guests fly into Reno and skip the drive. This is the concierge option most first-timers choose.
What are the rules for generator use?
Quiet hours apply in camps. We brief every guest on generator etiquette and provide a generator-hour log. Burners take this seriously — so do we.
