Huntington Beach RV Campground — Self-Drive Beachfront Destination
Huntington Beach RV Campground (formerly Sunset Vista RV Park) is a city-operated beachfront campground located just south of the Huntington Beach Pier, between 1st Street and Huntington Street, within the Huntington City Beach Parking Lot. Front-row sites are directly on the sand with Pier views — one of the most coveted beachfront RV experiences in Southern California.\n\nIMPORTANT — SEASONAL: The campground is open Tuesday after Labor Day through May 31, and CLOSED June 1 through Labor Day (the entire summer season). Reservations open 3 months prior to your arrival date at 8 AM (so for an October 4 arrival, reservations open July 4 at 8 AM). Standard rates: $75/night Sun-Thu, $100/night Fri-Sat and holidays. Front-row beachfront sites accommodate RVs up to 30 ft; back-row sites up to 45 ft.\n\nA note from Stress Free RVs: Huntington Beach RV Campground is a popular destination for our renters but isn't a typical delivery location for us. If this campground is on your itinerary, we recommend renting a drivable motorhome from us — pick up at our San Diego location, drive yourself up the coast (about 90 minutes), and enjoy the beachfront experience. Reserve your site directly through hbrv.org first, then book the RV with us.

What are the rates?
Standard rates from the city are $75/night Sunday-Thursday and $100/night Friday-Saturday and holidays. The Stress Free RV rental is priced separately.
