The San Diego County Fair RV Guide
The fair runs at the Del Mar Fairgrounds each summer. RVs can't park in the guest lots, and the fairgrounds' own RV park closes to the public during the fair — so the smart plays are a nearby campground stay or vendor housing.
The rules
- Vehicles over 27 ft are not allowed in fair guest parking lots.Source: sdfair.com — Parking
- Surf & Turf RV Park (run by the fairgrounds) is closed to the public during the fair and summer racing season.Source: Surf & Turf RV Park listings
How Stress Free RVs works within them
- 1
Fair visitors: we deliver and set up an RV at a nearby campground — Campland on the Bay, South Carlsbad or San Elijo — and you drive in for the day.
- 2
Vendors, concessionaires and crews: multi-unit housing delivered and supported for the full run of the fair.
