The EDC Las Vegas RV Guide

EDC 2027 runs two weekends at Las Vegas Motor Speedway: EDC Dusk (May 14–16) and EDC Dawn (May 21–23). Camp EDC allows bring-your-own RVs only, and the rules are strict — here is what they mean for a rental.

The rules

RVs may not be dropped off, picked up or set up by a third party or by anyone without a valid festival ticket and camping pass — you drive your RV in yourself. (Camp EDC Guidelines)
RVs must be Class A, B or C motorhomes between 19 ft and 45 ft. (Camp EDC Guidelines)
All RVs must have a working air conditioner powered by an on-board generator (or the power add-on). (Camp EDC Guidelines)
Vehicles displaying sponsorships or advertising are not allowed. (Camp EDC Guidelines)
You need an RV camping pass from EDC in addition to your festival tickets; passes and the power add-on sell out. (lasvegas.edc.com — RV Camping)

How Stress Free RVs works within them

Drivable Class A, B and C motorhomes only — every unit meets the 19–45 ft rule and has on-board generator A/C.
Clean, unbranded units that pass Camp EDC inspection.
Flat-rate 5-night packages for either weekend: Dusk (pickup May 12, return May 17) or Dawn (pickup May 19, return May 24).
Pickup at our meeting location, Sycuan Market in El Cajon, with a full orientation before the drive to Vegas.

EDC Las Vegas 2026 RV Rental FAQs

Can I get an RV delivered to EDC Las Vegas?

No company can deliver an RV into Camp EDC — EDC does not allow third-party drop-off. You drive the RV in yourself. Stress Free RVs rents drivable motorhomes that meet every Camp EDC rule, with pickup at Sycuan Market in El Cajon.

What kind of RV is allowed at EDC?

Class A, B or C motorhomes from 19 to 45 feet with a working air conditioner powered by an on-board generator. No sponsorship or advertising wraps.

Do I need an RV camping pass for EDC?

Yes. Buy an EDC RV camping pass for your weekend in addition to festival tickets — they sell out, so buy early.

Which weekend can I rent for?

Either. EDC 2027 has two weekends — Dusk (May 14–16) and Dawn (May 21–23) — and we offer a flat-rate 5-night package for each.

Why drivable RVs only?

EDC takes place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a 5-hour drive from San Diego. Drivable units self-park and self-set-up at the festival campground; towables add complexity to the trip and to setup that is not worth it for a 4-night festival run.

Where do I pick up the RV?

Our meeting location: Sycuan Market, 4915 Dehesa Rd, El Cajon, CA 92019. From there you drive directly to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway festival campground.

What does the flat-rate price include?

Trip prep and walkthrough, starter supply kit, accidental damage protection, taxes and processing — all built in. Commercial insurance ($10–$35/day) is added based on the unit you select. Delivery is not included.

How early should I book?

As early as possible. EDC is one of the highest-demand RV rental events in the U.S. and inventory typically books out 60+ days before the festival.

Will the RV handle the desert heat at LVMS?

Yes. RVs provide insulation, climate control with a running generator, and a sealed interior that protects you from heat and dust. The EDC Bundle covers fresh water, propane, and tank service so you can run the rig non-stop.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes — ask about the Pet Option when booking. Confirm the LVMS festival pet rules separately.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Free cancellation within 24 hours of booking (except reservations made within 48 hours of pickup). Refundable line items are returned 30+ days out; nightly rates are non-refundable. No refunds within 14 days of pickup.

Don't leave the awning open when not underneath it
Wind gusts can flip or break awnings in seconds. If you're not actively under it — especially overnight or during weather — retract it.
Don't leave windows or vents open
When you leave the unit unattended, close windows and roof vents. Prevents weather damage, dust intrusion, theft, and pest entry.

Returning the RV

Clean the unit and remove all personal belongings
Sweep, wipe down surfaces, take out trash, and double-check storage cabinets. We do a full turnover cleaning — your job is to leave it in reasonable condition.
Note any issues and communicate with our staff
Anything broke or stopped working during the trip? Tell us at return. Helps us address it before the next renter and keeps the inspection process honest.
Empty and flush waste tanks + water
Black tank → gray tank → fresh water. Use a designated dump station — never on the side of the road. (Skip this step if you purchased the Empty and Flush Waste Tanks add-on; we'll handle it.)
Refill propane and refuel
Return propane and fuel to the levels documented at trip start. Saves you the per-gallon refueling charge ($20/gal + labor) listed in Posted Rates.
Conduct trip-end inspection
Walk through the unit with our staff, confirm condition, sign the trip-end inspection form. This is what releases your security deposit hold.
Leave a 5-star review (and tell us privately what to improve)

A clean return means no extra charges. If the unit needs additional cleaning beyond standard turnover, the labor rate from Posted Rates applies — most renters complete the steps above and never see those charges.

Time-based rates (Labor, Admin, Excessive Cleaning) are rounded up to the nearest half-hour.

Burning Man returns have a minimum 4-hour Excessive Cleaning fee due to playa dust intrusion.
